Matinyani boys alumni class of 2000 has achieved great thanks to their unity since they left school more than 20 years ago. In a demonstration of unity and determination, 23 alumni from Matinyani Boys Secondary School celebrated a major milestone in their lives as they received title deeds for a 5.7-acre parcel of land in Mutomo town. The land, strategically located next to the Mutomo KMTC institution, marks the culmination of years of collective investment and disciplined savings by the group.

The alumni, led by Chairperson Nicholas Mutua and Deputy Chairperson Nicodemus Simba, formed an investment association soon after completing their high school education. During the handover ceremony, the group’s patron, Mr. Pascal Mutuku, a revered teacher at Matinyani Boys, expressed his immense pride in their achievement. “Seeing you all come together and achieve something so significant is the greatest reward a teacher could ask for,” Mr. Mutuku said, visibly moved.
