A road transport craftsman is a craftsperson or a worker skilled in road transport management. Road transport can be described as a means of transporting goods as well as people from one area to another on the road network. Road transport management deals with management of commercial passenger companies, supply chains and other logistical operations within the road transport sector. Under the supervision of senior road transport officers, road transport craftsmen assist in planning, coordinating, and managing road transport services including daily service operations among other duties.

Minimum admission requirements
A Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), mean grade D (plain) and above is required.
Training & Study options
With a KCSE mean grade D (plain) and above, you can proceed to a Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college and enroll for a relevant craft certificate course. Craft courses are also offered within Vocational Training Centers (VTCs) within your region.
